I saw the film of them being made on YouTube, and saw this was a simple but quality tool; ordered one and find it meets my needs and is an elegant tool. I am an artist and graphic artist/illustrator. Absolutely perfect! I had been looking around for a nice fountain pen that might outcast me when I stumbled upon this one. I'm a huge Hello Kitty fan, but I love how the details are subtle and don't take away from the overall design of the pen. I'm an English teacher, as well, and it's so fun to have such a statement piece of a pen, I get so many comments on it. It has such a pleasant weight to it, the aluminum feels like it'll last, it writes so smoothly. And it's simple to use, which is great for me, as my experience with fountain pens is incredibly limited. Overall, just a fantastic pen, I'm so glad that I got it!
